How To Add an App to Your Profile

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010

Following popular demand we have recently upgraded the profile so now you can add your apps.

Whether you want your app to be showcased, shared and discovered or you want to submit it to an app competition in partnership with dotopen, like the AppCircus, you will find this new feature very useful and, of course, free.

To start you will have to log in to dotopen and once in your dashboard click on “UPDATE PROFILE”

Once at the edit profile screen choose the tab “apps” and make sure you fill in all the fields. You can also embed a YouTube video and screenshots to further describe what your app is about.

Once you are done describing, make sure that you click on “SAVE CHANGES”.

You can add as many apps as you like just hit the “+ add app” icon and start over.

Simple enough! Of course, you can always drop us a line for questions, feedback or bugs reports!

Mobile Bites @ PICNIC09

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Last Thursday we hosted the Mobile Bites @ PICNIC09, a showcase dotopen organised to give young talented startups in mobile the chance to pitch their idea to a new audience. The startups could apply to demo through the dotopen.com/PICNIC participation page.

We selected five of the most interesting, creative, touching, weird or exciting applications in mobile to be showcased to the PICNIC audience in mini-presentations lasting 3 minutes each.

The presentations went well, most of the presenters went for the daring task to do a live demo on stage and the audience just loved it. Here below the pictures of the presenting startups, you can check their profile on dotopen by clicking their links. You can follow these companies as a dotopen member and stay up-to-date on their latest moves.
