<p>Last Thursday we hosted the <a title="Mobile Bites at PICNIC" href="http://www.picnicnetwork.org/page/54308/en" target="_blank">Mobile Bites @ PICNIC09</a>, a showcase <a title="dotopen" href="http://www.dotopen.com/organizations/view/dotopen" target="_blank">dotopen</a> organised to give young talented startups in mobile the chance to pitch their idea to a new audience. The startups could apply to demo through the <a href="../../PICNIC" target="_self">dotopen.com/PICNIC</a> participation page.</p>
<p>We selected five of the most interesting, creative, touching, weird or exciting applications in mobile to be showcased to the PICNIC audience in mini-presentations lasting 3 minutes each.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-51" title="Soundwalk Mobile Bites Pitch @ PICNIC09" src="http://dotopen.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/soundwalk@picnic.jpg" alt="Soundwalk Mobile Bites Pitch @ PICNIC09" width="480" height="321" /><em>Alex Kummerman presenting <a title="Soundwalk - Clicmobile" href="http://www.dotopen.com/organizations/view/soundwalk-clicmobile" target="_blank">Soundwalk</a></em></p>
<p>The presentations went well, most of the presenters went for the daring task to do a live demo on stage and the audience just loved it. Here below the pictures of the presenting startups, you can check their profile on <a title="dotopen" href="http://dotopen.com" target="_blank">dotopen</a> by clicking their links. You can follow these companies as a dotopen member and stay up-to-date on their latest moves.</p>
